Support Worker

Job Description

Community Independent Living is a Supported Living provider. We are a fast paced, team focused & rewarding company.

We are looking for motivated, honest & reliable individuals to join our fast-growing team of Support Workers. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high quality care to our service users. You will be working very closely with our service users & families.

Duties include (but not limited to):
  • Supporting service users with personal care tasks

  • Supporting service users to live as independently as possible.

  • Meal preparation

  • Administering/Prompting Medication

  • Monitoring of Health Conditions

We are looking for motivated, honest & reliable individuals to join our fast-growing team of Health Care Assistants. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high quality care to our service users. You will be working very closely with our service users & families out in the community.

Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.

  • Knowledge of senior care principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with common medical conditions affecting the elderly.

  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.

  • Supporting service users to live as independently as possible

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, honest & reliable Senior Carer to join our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the team of Health Care Assistants whilst also providing high quality care to our service users. You will be working very closely with our service users, families out in the community and also with the office.

Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.

  • Knowledge of senior care principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with common medical conditions affecting the elderly.

  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.

Duties include (but not limited to):
  • Supporting Health Care Assistants to do their job to the best of their ability

  • Contribute to staff development and identify any training needs of Health Care Assistants

  • Support service users with personal care tasks

  • Support service users to live as independently as possible

  • Administering/Prompting Medication

  • Monitoring of Health Conditions

  • Taking part in on call rota
